Peru – Sept 2018

Our trip to Peru in September, 2018 started with a quick overnight in Lima and then on to Cusco, by small airplane, where we got into a taxi for a 4 hour drive, down 2,000 feet in elevation, to Ollantaytambo (at 9,160 ft), visiting ruins and sights along the way.  There we stayed for 3 nights adjusting to the altitude before boarding a train to Machu Picchu below at 8,000 ft. Then to Cusco for a few days before flying back to Lima for a couple of days touring. Start from the beginning at the bottom Travelogue here.

Hello Everyone, Carol and I are heading off on another travel journey tomorrow morning (Monday, September 17th, 2018). This time we’re going South, for 2 weeks, all the way to Peru.
